Welcome to Four Lines! I have a goal I would like to write at least four lines of poetry or a haiku every day for the rest of my life. I'm excited about this challenge! Also, along with my daily poem, I will be reading at least four lines of another author's poetry. I'll try to include that here also. So I'm thinking - how difficult can it be to read and then write one poem a day? We will see! - Claudia

Hold my hand.
Do not let go.
Even if,
for a moment,
I start to move
away.
Pull me softly back.
I am worth the pulling back.

Walk me to your room,
in these moments
you are my world,
my breath,
my reason.

I look up at you,
do not worry
if, for a moment,
tears fill
my eyes.
Kiss them softly from my face.
I am worth your kissing my tears.

One day,
I'll walk you
to my room.
In those moments,
I will be your world,
your breath,
your reason.
You will know
I am fragile, strong
and why I am worthy
of you.
